Dear Members and Friends of Wessex Riding Club

It is with regret that with taking into account the general advice regarding sporting events due to the current Corona-virus outbreak that we have elected to cancel until further notice the start to our dressage season for 2020.

We hope that over the next couple of weeks we will be in a better position and have a clearer picture when we can start our competitions.

It has been a difficult decision to make but we feel that we carry a responsibly to our members and guest competitors to ensure that we are all safe whether we are competing or helping to run the event.

keep safe and well.

Ali Clarke

Dressage Secretary WRC

The aim of the club is to encourage you to have a go and have fun. We also run a Dressage to Music Classes at our events, as listed in the schedule.

Our competitions are held at the Wilton RDA Pembroke Centre, Wilton,Salisbury SP2 8PJ

If interested please download our schedule and entry forms!

If you have any queries about dressage events please contact our Dressage Secretary, Ali Clarke

Due to the recent outbreaks of Equine Flu we are following guidance given by BHS that all competitors in the forthcoming dressage events must bring their Horse Passport to demonstrate that their horse has been vaccinated within the last six months, as per the recommendations made by the Society.

Without this evidence you may not compete and you will be asked to leave the RDA yard.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter, we feel it is everyone’s interest and safety.
